Never mind that we do not have a Bird's Nest.
Never mind that we do not have a global audience.
Never mind that we do not have foreign dignitaries flying in from everywhere around the world.
Never mind that we do not have a performance as spectacular as the olympics opening.
Never mind that we're living in a mad mad place where money and results matters.
Seeing our PRESIDENT getting off his seat, walking among the performers, greeting them, thanking them, shaking their hands,
Seeing the fireworks over Singapore's skyline, with the accompanying music,
Wow.
Singapore I love you.
There's no place i'll rather be...

Note: I'm not saying the Olympics arent good. That was the effing best opening i've ever seen in my life. A truly memorable one.
