Today Bio Prac was so fun.

We did some experiment on plant cells.

Then we needed nail polish to like take the plant cells so we could see them on a microscope.

So Ms Tan told us she would turn a blind eye , some guys did it last year too
xP
(But she told us to get it removed by the next sch day)

And so some of us did.

Its quite gay though.

Got mine removed alr, but it was interesting i guess.
LOL.

We should like have gone flashing (our nails.) at the exchange students (girls).
(NONONO I AM JOKING.) [No demerits ah]
(Shows placards - Please laugh. Its meant to be a joke. DONT TAKE IT TO HEART)

TGIFTGIF

Finally its friday.
Week 1 gone!

-----------

Reading period was quite fun.
Kengwhye and Fang damn funny xP

"What has the principal got to say about his grade of 7/40 for his math test?"
"My grades are not the topic of discussion for today"

Or smth like that hahas.

-----------

Training was quite okay, coach mainly trained the sec 1s, and gave us some PT which wasnt that bad as compared to other times really.

Played with Jackson and owned the last set 9-0 or 9-1. Lol.
(Not bragging about this- I shouldnt:x)
Ii think i was on fire or smth.
Wanted to finish it quick, so andrew could use the court (he left so we could play).
And damn it felt good.
Whackwhackwhack Whamwhamwham xP

---------

Have been toying around with google earth lately.
Sean's presentation today just made me wanna find more cool stuff.

Badlands guardian, area 51, "Jesus loves you" and some cool egyptian gods.
Wow.

---------

This English project made me do some research on panspermia.
Yes yes please get all excited over the word sperm.

Have been interested in such stuff (due to muse, i guess- conspiracy, aliens and stuff), and i got the chance to find out more.

Panspermia is a theory that "seeds" of life were planted into earth by say, comets or something.

I think its a really interesting theory.

Its quite cool , really. I like it.

As in, it would be quite silly to think that no aliens, or other life exists out there.
Seriously, what do you think the earth is? The world?

Yea it is the world. But not the universe.

No one knows how bloody big it is out there.
Heard that recently some scientists found a planet in another system which is equidistant away from its sun as earth is away from our own sun. Life there?

Hmm.

(Not trying to offend anyone here. I know some of you guys have religions which have creation myths and stuff, but this is just using a little bit of a scientific approach to understanding creation, a different perspective.)

-----------

Google Earth's calling.
Cya peeps!

Met our new physics teacher today- Mr Tan CG.

Seems like a really nice and funny guy xP

He typed in his username then typed in his password.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Four weeks just seem to pass so quickly.

------------------

The Rachmaninoff-esque piano solo from B&H is really nice.

"The song concerns itself with the so called butterfly effect of chaos theory, describing how individuals can make a huge difference just as a butterfly could redirect a hurricane." - wiki

I dunno if a butterfly can stop a hurricane, and maybe only some individuals can make a huge difference, but what i know is

THIS PIANO SOLO ROCKS. (not exactly this cover in particular, just happened to see this version, talking about the solo itself)

Its kind off ripped-off from rachmaninoff though.

But without the Egyptians' ingenuity in mastering the power of the Nile, the enduring success of the Egyptian civilization would not have been possible Matt Bellamy's pure talent, he wouldnt have been able to refer to rachmaninoff's and make such a brilliant piece :D

and Icky Thump by the White Stripes

---------------------

From MuseWiki:

Their reputation for outlandish conspiracy theories involving UFOs, futurism and the supernatural have garnered them a cult following which includes celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, The Killers' Brandon Flowers and even Paris Hilton (who was reportedly turned away backstage because singer Bellamy couldn't be bothered to meet her).

^^

"Have you had any celebrity fans coming to the shows?

Christopher Wolstenholme (bass):
In LA the kid for The Sixth Sense (Hayley Joe Osment) came to see us. I think he crashed his car on the way home.
MB:
Paris Hilton to the LA show, too. But she left during Knights of Cydonia, which is the first song on the set. If we're offending Paris Hilton we must be doing something right.

And so, my participation in this year's Prince Open comes to an end.

Got to the second round, then lost to Bryden..

Cant say i'm happy that i lost, but i'm quite content too.
Apparently he was the 3rd/4th seed for U17 boys last year...

I lost the first game, then won the second game then lost the third game 6-11.
But i dun wanna get complacent or too happy, counting that he started with -10 and i started with +3... x.x
He also prob let his guard down since i'm "unknown" i guess.. :X

Actually i'm quite happy to be able to play with him too..
So high ranking player.. Good exp xP

Anyway, this also inspired me to train harder , esp my fitness.
I will be back (and go further -hopefully) next year!

And good luck to all the people still inside - jason , darren / timothy (who won?)...

-------------------------

Going to malaysia tomorrow, so cmi for the bbq...
you guys enjoy yourselves k :)

--------------------------

Theres some problem with my blog code, so its kinda like a personal diary now, no one seeing it except me.. (or am i wrong?)
Maybe the teachers have conspiracy with blogger, allowed to view our dashboards O.O
(If any teacher does see this, pls NOTE: LIGHTHEARTED COMMENT. NO POLITICALLY INCORRECT MESSAGE MEANT. DONT TAKE IT TO HEART. I DONT WANNA GET IN TROUBLE)
{note: code corrected}

But seriously, its quite scary...
Listen to muse, think more about the future and conspiracy theories ^^...

Imagine.
Living a life under constant surveillance.. quite scary.
Who knows, might happen some day ^^

As with 2012...

"Muse play Wembley Stadium mega gig

Matt, Dom and Chris are on form at biggest show of their lives

Muse have played the biggest gig of their lives tonight (June 16) at Wembley Stadium in north London.

The band marked their first night at the giant venue (they play again on June 17) with an epic two hour performance.

With the stage decorated with giant satellite dishes, futuristic antennas, giant white balls and thousands of dazzling lights the band's set was equal to the stadium's impressive setting.

Surprising the expectant audience, the band emerged in the middle of the crowd in a fountain of glitter before walking along an extended catwalk to the stage and kicking off the show with triumphant opener 'Knights Of Cydonia'.

Playing in front of a giant screen which mixed stage shots with pre-prepared video clips, plus frontman Matt Bellamy and bassist Chris Wolstenholme roaming the vast stage, occasionally peforming from special ramped-up areas on either side, Muse worked hard to engage the vast audience.

"How you doing Wembley?" drummer Dominic Howard asked the masses after early songs including 'City Of Delusion' and 'Map Of The Problematique' which was been recorded at the Wembley shows for release as a live single. "It looks like you're having fun, we are!"

The band then tore through a career-spanning set including 'Sunburn' which Bellamy introduced - seated at a glass-topped grand piano - as "the very first song from our very first album".

With the whole crowding bonding to loudly sing-a-long to 'Invincible', the singer then paused to acknowledge the sheer scale of the giant gig.

"How are you doing at the back?" He asked squinting into the distance. "I hope you see us! This one is for you."

Muse then launched into 'Starlight' before quickly following it up with 'Man Of Mystery', The Shadows cover the band recorded especially for the CD which is being given away free with copies of NME which are on UK newsstands now.

Finishing their initial set with an expanded version of 'New Born' - complete with spotlights in the centre of the satellite dishes illuminating the whole stadium - the band then returned for a climactic first encore.

Re-taking to the stage Bellamy encourage the crowd to hold their mobile phones in the air filling the venue with tiny sparkling lights during 'Soldiers Poem' which he dedicated to “unsung heroes”.

However Muse then trumped themselves bringing on two acrobats who, suspended by giant white balloons, soared above the crowd during a dreamy rendition of 'Blackout'.

With 'Plug In Baby' exploding Wembley back into life after the mid-air dancers, the band then teasingly left the stage once again but were soon back to finish things off.

"Thanks you guys have been fantastic," declared Bellamy on his return. "And thanks for making us the first artists to sell out [the new] Wembley-fucking-Stadium!"

The band then launched into closer 'Take A Bow' which they concluded with by unleashing giant flames right at the end of the song, before soaking up the applause and leaving the stage for the final time.

Muse played:
'Knights Of Cydonia'
'Hysteria'
'Supermassive Blackhole'
'Map Of The Problematique'
'City Of Delusion'
'Butterflies & Hurricanes'
'Citizen Erased'
'Hoodoo'
'Feeling Good'
'Sunburn'
'Invincible'
'Starlight'
'Man Of Mystery'
'Time Is Running Out'
'Newborn'
'Soldiers Poem'
'Unintended'
'Blackout'
'Plug In Baby'
'Micro Cuts'
'Stockholm Syndrome'
'Take A Bow'"

Quite old news, i guess, but i've got the videos here, so gonna share it with you all.

Five reasons why you should catch MUSE live.

Five reasons why you should catch effing (cant use real thing o.o , cos got secret police on my back. BUT ITS A FACT. MUSE DO FUCKING ROCK. I think its okay to use personally, as i'm not insulting anyone. Why would i insult Muse? This word in this case is meaning something good, stressing that its MUSE. But if people are offended by it, they can just click the "X" at the top right corner of the page. People, if you are offended by the four letters, just go away. The internet is so big! Theres porn on the net, does that mean you have to see it? YOU choose what you want to see.Wah preach so long, back to MUSE ^^ - but if someone really has got issues with this, please tag on my board and i will gladly change it. I dont want to get into trouble cos of four miserable letters.) Muse, the first band to play and of course, sell out Wembley.

1. Knights of Cydonia

2. Plug-in Baby

3. Microcuts

4. Supermassive Black Hole

5. Unintended
